I have recently organized the Hello Diversity! Conference to encourage discussions on distinct facets of entrepreneurial diversity in a digital age and kickstart research projects on that matter.
More than 150 academics, practitioners and students followed the invitation to the conference that took place at the Freie Universität Berlin.
My colleague Marie and I invited 15 speakers from diverse backgrounds who shared their insights on demographic, functional and deep-level diversity dimensions (see program). Features speakers were Natalya Nepomnyashcha (founder of Netzwerk Chancen), Dr. Timo Lorenz (scientists in the area of neurodiversity), Prof. Helle Neergaard (scientists in the area of gender diversity), Uta Menges (Diversity & Inclusion Manager at IBM), Nancy Nemes (founder of Ms.AI), Hannah Dahl (founder of CoWomen), Prof. Stephanie Birkner (Female Entrepreneurship) and many more.
The insights from the Diversity Talks were used during the Paperthon at the second conference day in which all scientists developed interdisciplinary research projects related to the overall conference theme.
